Monthly Design Tip
It still amazes me how many beautiful things that  we own or have inherited are
"tucked away" for safe keeping! Beautiful crystal, china, linens, furniture that we
say we don't want to use because it will get broken or damaged.................
I say bring it out, use it, re-purpose it for todays use if necessary.....................
-small lovely little china plates can hold change or jewelery by a sink or dresser
or hold a bar of soap in a powder room.
-use that china soup tureen to hold fruit on your kitchen counter.
-water tastes so much better in a crystal glass than in a plastic one.
-make a pillow for your sofa out of that fur coat that doesn't fit.
-retrofit the interior of that TV armoire as drinks cabinet to be used in a dining
room or living room, now that you have a wall mounted flat panel TV.

Your home should be your sanctuary, a place to relax, enjoy your family and feel
wonderful. Drink from those beautiful glasses your grandmother had in her china
cabinet for all those years that she wouldn't let anyone touch and eat from those
plates you received for a wedding gift..... these things we have cherished evoke
memories but more importantly, they beautify our lives and also make us feel
good!
